As you plan your gift you may want to consider the following specially honored giving levels:
Sustaining Patrons ensure the long-range viability of the Mind & Life Institute, and are greatly honored financial partners and members of our Mind and Life family. With a commitment to give $30,000 or more per year for a minimum of three years, Patrons affirm their dedication to the important work of the Institute, keep us on a stable footing, and enable us to plan both current and future scientific investigations with confidence. In appreciation of their deep commitment to the Mind & Life Institute, we extend special invitations to Sustaining Patrons to our Mind and Life public and private events. Please contact Jacqui DeFelice, Director of Operations and Advancement, at Jacqui@mindandlife.org or 413-387-0710 extension 102 for more information about Patron benefits and activities.
Major Sponsors give between $10,000 and $30,000 annually, are recognized as supporters in Mind and Life publications, and are invited to selected Mind and Life events.
Friends of Mind and Life give between $1,000 and $10,000 annually in support of Mind & Life Institute, and are recognized as supporters in Mind and Life publications.
Planned Giving: With a planned gift, you can create a lasting legacy of support for Mind and Life’s mission, while receiving a financial benefit during your lifetime. Planned gifts include donations of appreciated assets such as stock, gifts through various forms of trust or annuity that provide living benefits to the giver, or various forms of bequeath. A planned gift can retain income and defer, reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes, generate a charitable income tax deduction, and reduce or eliminate estate, gift, or generation-skipping taxes. Planned givers are also recognized in Mind & Life Institute publications. For more information about making a planned gift, please contact Jacqui DeFelice.
