This breakout session will provide opportunity for participant discussion of various contemplative practices that are relevant to the transformation of fear and the cultivation of trust, facilitating wisdom and compassion. Discussion will also consider how contemplative science and scholarship can most skillfully explore the roles and consequences of fear and trust, at personal, interpersonal, and societal/cultural levels of analysis. Participants are invited to contribute to this discussion with questions and approaches from their own practices and academic backgrounds.
