The Mind & Life Institute sponsored His Holiness the Dalai Lama's
visit and public appearance in Denver, Colorado
The Dalai Lama's talk was entitled "The Science of a Compassionate Life" held at Pepsi Center Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 2:30pm. This was The Dalai Lama's first visit to Denver in nine years.
Tibetan flutist and Grammy award nominee Nawang Khechog provided opening entertainment along with Tibetan dancers. Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper introduced the Dalai Lama.
