Interview with Richard Gere at Mind and Life XVIII, Dharamsala India

Hi all. We are interviewing participants in the meeting to keep you up to date on what is happening. In this short interview, Richard Gere discusses his experience at the meeting and the importance, in his eyes, of the striving for a “common language” between the disciplines of Buddhist Contemplative Investigation and Modern Science in an effort to better understand the mind and the means of transforming it in the direction of personal and social upliftment.  Richard is also a long-time supporter of Mind and Life and continues to work to bring monastics to the MLI summer research institute.     These videos we can see. It’s the quick times (Alan Wallace) that is not registering. Perhaps it too can be uploaded via You Tube? or some other system so it’s visible as well?
