		<description>The early 9th-century bilingual vocabulary, the Mahavyutpatti (Maloney edition), has these entries:

jīvitendriyam (mvyut_1990) _ srog gi dbang po
jīvitendriyam (mvyut_2081) _ srog gi dbang po

It's one of those Abhidharma concepts I'm not clear about.  It's one of those extra-mental things that nevertheless has impact on mental states.  It somehow serves as a 'prop' for both bodily warmth and consciousness.

The big Chang Yisun dictionary says this:  sems can ris mthun par sngon las kyi dbang gis ci tsam gnas pa'i dus nges pa tshe zhes brjod pa ste drod dang rnam shes kyi rten du gyur pa gang yin pa de'o,...
